*About the artist
Haya Halaw is a published illustrator/ painter born in Syria , Based in Germany. Worked on more than 15 children’s books, comics and editorials inside the Arab region and out.
Her editorials were published in Al jumhuriyah.net ,Syria direct, aloom magazing Kuwait, jeem,not your refugee podcast, and Beyond conflict. She received Etisalat award in 2022, and was nominated for Mahmoud kahil award this year.
